Donna Mee is a 30+ year-veteran Makeup Artist, Educator and Beauty Entrepreneur. After honing her skills working with celebrities in television, print and runway, she now specializes in beauty print work and educating. She is considered the number one artist in corrective beauty makeup and one of the top beauty educators in the world. Donna is known for developing new, advanced methods for contour/highlight and color utilization that are being utilized by artists she has trained in over 15 countries.
Formerly the Director of Makeup at Make Up For Ever Donna is responsible for discovering the brand and bringing them to the United States, which led to their abundant growth before being bought by Louis Vuitton/Moet Hennessy. Donna opened her first makeup studio in 1995 followed by a makeup artist agency and her makeup brush line in in 1996 followed by the launch of her school, Empire Academy of Makeup in 1997. Her academy had the highest success rate for working graduates of all makeup schools in the entire United States from 1999 - 2014. Lavonne Anthony has achieved much success as an artist, after graduating from Empire Academy of Makeup in 1998. Most recently, Lavonne worked with top runway makeup artist icon, Pat McGrath on many shows for Fashion Weeks in Paris and New York. Some of Lavonne's runway makeup credits include Givenchy, Lanvin, Louis Vuitton, Herve Leger, Tommy Hilfiger, Imitation of Christ, Perry Ellis, Versace, and NYC Fashion Night Out presented by Vogue.
In addition, Lavonne's work has been published in Cosmopolitan, Essence, Time and Wired magazines. Thomas Surprenant has been a professional makeup artist for twenty-two years and has instructed others in makeup techniques for over seventeen years. In the course of his career Thomas has been nominated for two Emmy awards. In 1995, for his work on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, he won the Emmy for “Outstanding Individual Achievement in Makeup”. His work has been featured on the covers of Fangoria and Rue Morgue Magazine and in the pages of Men’s Health Magazine and Inside Motorcross.
Thom is a licensed cosmetologist with many years of experience in skin care and product knowledge. He is the Owner of Thomas Surprenant Creations, providing specialty products for the film, television, and print industries. His makeup skills are in constant demand both in beauty, special character, and makeup effects.
Thom has been part of two Academy Award-winning makeup crews. Most recently he has worked on X-Men 3, Vacancy, and Big Fish. He has provided special prosthetic paint for The Santa Claus 1-3, The Scorpion King, Terminator 3, and The Lord of the Rings Trilogy.

Michael received a makeup kit for his 7th birthday and has been doing makeup in one form or another since. His career has spanned decades and continents. His theater credits include Phantom of the Opera, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and over 150 other shows as costume, makeup, and/or hair designer. His resume highlights include such film credits as Pirates of the Caribbean, Titanic, Cat in the Hat, Bring it On, Pulp Fiction and 25 other films in the last 6 years. He recently became a member of the Makeup Artist Union (Local 706), and also worked on the Project Greenlight Feature, Feast.
Michael's makeup talents include sculpting, mold making, wig and facial hair making, character makeup, specialty blood effects, prosthetic makeup, and virtually any other makeup related to TV and film. Michael has taught Donna Mee's makeup artistry students media makeup classes and workshops when he is available between projects since 1999.
Margaux is the youngest female ever to be accepted into the Makeup Artist Union Local 706 where she has been a member since 1991. She has worked on such films as National Treasure, Shaggy Dog, XXX2, The Princess Diaries, Man on the Moon, Very Bad Things, Living Out Loud, Born Yesterday, Stone Cold, The Waterdance, Why do Fools fall in Love? and Batman and Robin.

From a small town in Kentucky, Aaron Paul starting working as a makeup artist in 2006. His background in watercolor painting, was a natural progression into artistry for the face. Wanting to advance his knowledge and skills, Aaron moved to Orange County, California to attend Donna Mee's Courses. His art background combined with the advanced curriculum on the art and Science of makeup and beauty esthetics enabled him to expand his skills and knowledge of color, angles, and light to transform women to their highest beauty potential. Aaron completed the multi-media master course in 2007 and immediately started working with top cosmetic companies such as Christian Dior, Bobbi Brown, Trish McEvoy and Nars as well as working in high end day spas as a makeup artist working with clients from all walks of life, honing his skills even more.
A few years later, Aaron transitioned into freelance artistry work with photographers and modeling agencies and his exceptional talent, skills and professionalism has allowed him to progress into working with some of the highest, most respected industry crews in the world which led to celebrity work. Currently Aaron’s schedule reflects a lot of beauty work in the print industry as well as work in television and with music videos with A-List talent and celebrities like Jessi J and Gwen Stefani. Kimm’s love of makeup started on the stage as a performer in her teens. In college her makeup career began backstage while studying Dramatic Arts Design and Technology and working at a professional theater as a makeup artist and dresser. Interested in developing her skills in beauty makeup she attended Donna Mee's Courses in 2006. After completing her courses with Donna Mee, Kimm landed a coveted position with M.A.C. and began building her bridal clientele. She later attended the San Diego Beauty Academy and became a licensed esthetician.
Currently Kimm can be found on set for photo shoots, working with brides all over San Diego County, designing and consulting for theaters, providing private lessons to clients and aspiring artists, and now teaching at Mee Inc Industry Workshops!
